An Important Update About Berwick Veterinary Care Center

For the past few years, we have worked diligently to recruit and maintain a veterinary care team to provide consistent, outstanding care for our patients and the Berwick community. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to secure and retain the necessary medical staff to keep Berwick Veterinary Care Center open, while maintaining the standards of medicine and service our clients and patients deserve. As a result, we have made the very difficult decision to close the hospital.

Berwick Veterinary Care Center’s final day of appointments will be Wednesday, October 28th, 2026, after which the hospital will permanently close for business.

We recognize that this news may feel sudden and upsetting, especially when you have trusted our team with such an important aspect of your family’s care. We apologize for the disruption this may cause and are committed to providing clear information to help you navigate this transition.

Continuing Your Pet’s Care

We are referring clients to our trusted sister hospital, Mountain Shadow Veterinary Hospital. Their experienced veterinary team is ready to welcome you and your pets to continue their care.

Scheduled Appointments

Appointments scheduled through October 28, 2026, will continue as planned.

Clients with appointments scheduled after October 28th will be contacted directly by our team. We will help facilitate the transition of care and provide information about appropriate next steps.

Requesting Medical Records

To request a copy of your pet’s medical records, please email Berwick Veterinary Care Center at BerwickVCCenter@yourvetdoc.com.

Please allow 3–5 business days for digital copies to be sent by email and up to one week for physical copies to be mailed or made available for pickup.

For quick access to basic medical information, including vaccination history, many records are also available through the PetDesk app.
